Monroe High School in 1975. While working towards his bachelors' degree in Political Science at Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina , he also played varsity football. He graduated in 1979 and married April Anderson from Birmingham, Alabama in 1981. After graduating from Furman University, he returned to North Florida in 1980 and began a career in commercial real estate which has spanned over two decades. After ten successful years with the Commercial Division of Investors Realty, during which he was named the company's Top Producer for five consecutive years, he founded his own company, Craig Commercial Realty in 1990. He has consistently been recognized as a Multi-million dollar producer for the Tallahassee Board of REALTORS.
